Beyond the Diagnosis: Hope, Health, and Healing

The Philippine Rheumatology Association (PRA) will host a half-day patient advocacy event titled “Beyond the Diagnosis: Hope, Health, and Healing” on March 11, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel, as part of the PRA’s 32nd Annual Convention held alongside the APLAR Mid-term Symposium.

The event is designed to empower individuals living with autoimmune and rheumatic diseases by focusing on holistic care that goes beyond medical treatment. Bringing together patients, patient partner groups, advocates, and healthcare professionals, the gathering aims to foster collaboration, shared understanding, and patient-centered care.

Participants will benefit from four focused talks covering nutrition, mental health, safe physical activity, and restorative sleep—key aspects of living well with chronic rheumatic conditions. Through education and dialogue, the PRA continues its commitment to advocacy, inclusion, and improving quality of life for patients across the country.
